This is an app that we, at the time first-year HSE students, built using React Native (at the time very, very, very early tech, super buggy) and some Azure cloud features.

Remember how we were choosing between making an app and a game; fast-forward to 2026 and neither of us hasn’t made a game, thinking it’s too complex, ha!

We won the Nokia Lumia running WP 7.5, I still remember how my ex flexed with it. The Windows Phone UI was smooth, however there were almost no apps available, and the update to 8.0 was impossible.

Shame, cuz I think amazing people worked on WP.
