Amo / Voice Messaging App Concept
For amo, I designed a playful interaction for a voice messaging app where conversations feel more alive than the usual chat list.
Instead of stacked threads, I thought friends would orbit around you, and ‘blobs’ your peers flow as if you were walking the street for individual chats or form the audience, ready to listen to you for group conversations.
The core interaction was inspired by walkie-talkies and music apps. I wanted recording to feel active and fun, so your avatar takes center stage with a glowing ring that pulses as you talk. The moment you release, the voice shoots off like a signal, making sending a message feel satisfying.
